Metalworking

Vintage cars and diplomatic vehicles like to display flags. However, these must be temporarily removed. For this purpose, our customer supplies a bayonet clamp made of stainless steel 1.4305, milled and rotated, then chrome-plated. Since chrome plating is limited on stainless steels, damage was only a matter of time. Another stainless steel was not usable due to the extensive machining.

Thanks to our good connections into the fine casting industry, it is possible for us to have a holder made of 1,4571 polished at a quantity of only 500, which is provided by us with the necessary back-side threaded holes and threaded bolts.

A customer is dissatisfied with his previous lithium battery . Out of date design, the charger, which is housed in an easily damaged housing at the same time as the battery, quickly fails under conditions of use in the outdoor area. Further consumers cannot be connected.

 

In close cooperation with the customer, we developed a stable, moisture-proof housing for the battery with a separate charger. The long contacts make it possible to connect several consumers at the same time. Since there is a risk of the poles being short-circuited by tools carried by the customer at the same time, an additional neoprene cover was developed.

Mast level

The mast steps available on the market for climbing a sailing mast are ugly, heavy or foldable. Materials are largely stainless steel, plastic and cast aluminum. Cast aluminum does not withstand conditions at sea well. Stainless steel forms a galvanic element with the common aluminum masts. You have an unsafe grip on plastic steps.

 

We constructed a milled mast step made of seawater-resistant aluminum, which is additionally hard-coated, as is the rule with many other components on a seaworthy sailboat. No galvanic corrosion to the mast, thanks to titanium screws or monel rivets that we also offer.

Thanks to the sturdy bracket, you don't have to slip or feel unsafe in our steps. On request we offer anodized mast steps and metal parts.
